    Sake is incredibly hydrating and nourishing, beaming with amino acids, antioxidants, peptides, and many more goodies, known for its naturally beautifying properties. Just to name a few, ferulic acid contained in Sake is known to naturally strengthen skin elasticity. All those antioxidants in Sake protects you from environmental aggressors of air pollution and sun exposure. Lovely to meet you! I'm a United Nations Official turned Entrepreneur, on a mission to share the beauty of Japanese Sake, in support of our precious 2000-year-old craft.

Did you know that this beautiful craft is in a decline in Japan right now? It's hard to imagine now, but I never liked Sake before. But 'discovering' the beauty of Sake by coincidence changed the course of my life...!  I went from United Nations to Sake. I know it’s a rather unusual career change!

As I learned about the current realities of Sake in my ancestral town of Nagano (a major historical Sake production area) that our precious craft is in a serious decline, I wanted to do something. Hence, my mission above!

Sake is an incredibly delicious craft, but it’s not only for drinking! There’s so much more to Sake. Sake is such a nourishing and beautifying ingredient too, as my late grandmother in Nagano used to tell us.

I’ve been making my own natural selfcare product since 2014 for myself and for my family. I realized sharing my Sake Balm would be another fabulous way to share Sake Love with the world!
